Product Specifications

  • Corks are manufactured in Portugal. The clean cork grain used in the production of Glassnow corks is milled from leftover natural cork stopper production.
  • Cork is a natural, sustainable, and eco-friendly material that is biodegradable and can break down naturally over time without harming the environment.
  • The porous nature of cork allows it to compress and form a tight seal when inserted into the neck of a bottle or jar. This helps prevent air from entering the bottle and keeps the contents fresh over time.
  • Corks are tested for the European wine market and pass the Moisture Standard Test ISO9727-3, Sensorial Standard Test ISO22308:2005, and the Washing Residues (mg/stopper) Standard Test NP 4502:2011.
  • This product does not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) or lead. It is Prop 65 compliant.
